ABOUT 

My interest in fashion sparked at the age of twelve when I made my first ever complex garment, a formal dress, using a set of ready-made patterns picked from a magazine during a primary school textile class. I can recall my main motivators for the project back then being: curiosity toward the unknown world of dressmaking and the feeling of challenging myself by thinking: "Could I actually make this work? And if I can, what else will I be able to make in the future?"

The same passion and ambition to push my boundaries both creatively and craftmanship-wise are still driving my design practice today. My aim is to offer products of contemporary style with experimental form and material choices. In my work, I like to pose questions regarding modern wearability, sustainability and and the importance of emotionally durable design during our time of climate emergency.

I have always had a hunger for knowledge and I have acquired an extensive education in the field of fashion and design. Starting with a craftsmanship-centered Clothing Artisan degree where I learned to pattern cut and design made-to-order clothing, moving on to higher education studies in Clothing Design, a degree in BA Fashion Accessory Design from Nottingham Trent University and MA in Disruptive Design from Arts University Plymouth. My Master´s Degree prepared me to look at my field of work and study through a critical lens, sensitive to the ethical and sustainable issues of the fashion industry.
